The Book of Leviticus explains the way to believe in the justice of God and the merciful and righteous love He has fulfilled for you.

Levi was the third son of Jacob born of his first wife Leah, and he was also the son responsible for causing a great deal of trouble for his father by taking revenge for the rape of his sister Dinah. However despite this, God entrusted Levi and his descendants with priesthood to serve Him.
There is a puzzling question to be asked here. Of all the twelve sons of Jacob, why did God specifically choose Levi and entrust him with the priesthood? God did this despite the fact that apart from Levi, Jacob had no fewer than eleven other sons who were all worthy to be chosen. It抯 not our place to dispute why God specifically raised Levi and entrusted him and his descendants with the priesthood, for this was entirely God抯 decision. However, I am reminded here of a passage from the Word of God, so I may say humbly that perhaps God chose Levi because 搘here sin abounded, graced abounded much more?(Romans 5:20).
God raised the tribe of Levi to be the priests of the nation of Israel because Levi was hot-blooded and quite prone to commit transgressions. In a similar vein, God has raised you and me to preach the gospel of the water and the Sprit throughout the whole world in this age because we are also prone to commit many transgressions against God just like Levi.
